Population dynamics, HIV, malaria, nutrition, maternal health, family planning: demography and health programmes mobilise significant funding and require rigorous tracking of indicators and impact.
Born out of CEFORP at the University of Abomey-Calavi, CRAD brings together demographers and statisticians fluent in large-scale surveys (DHS, MICS) and censuses. From family planning (a national study of 1,400 young people) to HIV (Mali, Global Fund) and malaria (the Impact Malaria project, 4 countries), health and demography are CRAD's founding field, a trusted partner of the Global Fund, ENABEL, UNICEF and Plan International.
